Beginner: 6:30-7:30 (This class is for Students ONLY)
Beginner Practice Time: 7:30-8:00 (This practice time is for Students ONLY)
Beginner/Intermediate: 8:00-9:00 (All members)
Advanced Class: 9:00-10:00 (All members)
Dance Time: 10:00-12:00 (All members)

Spring 2009 RSDS Class Schedule

Tango
Instructor: Indre Rapalaciute

starts January 14 (2nd week of school)

Wednesday evenings
location: Rice Graduate Apartments (1515 Bissonnet) in the Common Room

6:30 - 7:45 : Argentine Tango Fundamentals (Beginner)
8:00 - 9:15 : Argentine Tango Fundamentals II (Intermediate)

  • The shuttlebus that says “Graduate Apts” goes straight there, or it’s a short walk off campus. Limited parking. Dial 000# to get in.
  • There will be two cycles of five weeks each, and each cycle will include back-to-back beginner and intermediate classes. The first cycle begins Wed., Jan 14th. The classes will be capped, but those who don’t get in to the first will have first choice of taking the second cycle. Each cycle has its own syllabus and covers different topics.

Swing

7:30-8:00 Open dance time
8:30-9:15 Beginner Swing (Jitterbug)
