West Coast Swing Workshop for Beginners!-cancelled due to Ike

Schedule for Ballroom Lessons
Each Monday, RSDS will hold Ballroom Dance lessons.
Check this schedule for information about what dances will be taught each week:
Each evening will be formatted in four time blocks:
6:30-7:30, we will hold beginner lessons, which are for students only
7:30-8:00 will be free dance/practice time. Music choices will focus on the dances taught during the beginner lessons.
8:00-9:00, we will hold intermediate-level lessons, open to all RSDS members.
9:00-10:00, we will hold advanced-level lessons, open to all RSDS members.
10:00-midnight will be free dance/practice time.

West Coast Swing Workshop: April 6
West Coast Swing is one of the most fun and versatile social dances. It can be danced to almost any music written in 4/4 time at speeds ranging from very slow to very fast. Any music from hip hop to blues can be used to dance WCS.
On Sunday April 6th (the sunday of Spring Recess) there will be a west coast swing workshop for beginners taught by a professional dancer Ben Hooten. Ben is 22 years old and has been dancing for 13 years.
The Details:
3:00-4:30: Lesson in the Grand Hall (Students only)
4:30-5:30: Free Dancing
No partner necessary!
